1. Sealing inspection of headlamp
If water vapor invades the interior of the headlamp, the lamp life will be reduced. Please pay attention to the sealing inspection of the headlamp. If the seal between the lens and mirror is damaged, replace it immediately.
2. Cleaning mirrors
The reflector of the semi enclosed headlamp turns black and needs to be replaced when the brightness decreases. If there is only dust on the mirror, it can not be replaced, but it should be blown clean with compressed air. If the mirror can not be blown clean, the coating material of the mirror is chromium plating, and the hardness is high. The deer skin can be dipped in absolute ethanol (the content is more than 95%) and gently wiped from the inside to the outside of the mirror in a spiral shape. If the mirror is silver plated or aluminized, due to its low hardness, only hot water can be added to the cleaning cotton to clean the mirror coating.
3. Clean the bulb
If the halogen bulb is dirty, clean it with absorbent cotton soaked in ethanol (90%). When scrubbing, please do not carry out when the lamp is just off and the lamp still has residual heat. After cleaning, do not wipe dry, should be dry, do not touch the bulb with hand or cloth, turn on the power immediately, otherwise it will lose luster and cannot be restored to its original state.
4. Adjust the beam direction
When the vehicle is running, the vibration of the vehicle body will make the beam direction deviate. There is a professional inspection on the direction of the headlamp during the annual inspection. During regular maintenance, technicians can also be required to check and adjust the irradiation direction. The screen method is generally used for adjustment. Before inspection, it must be noted that the tire pressure reaches the standard value.
