To achieve more accurate intelligent light regulation, only rely on LED bulbs. In fact, LED lighting technology has appeared half a century ago. LED is the abbreviation of light emitting diode, commonly known as light-emitting diode. The original LED can only emit red light and green light. Because of its low power consumption, long life and small size, it often appears on the instrument indicator light and single color LED light box advertisements. And LED light reaction time is short, the first application in the car is the brake tail light.

If LED is used as lighting tool, white light must be synthesized, and blue light must be added to synthesize white light. So until the end of last century, led blue light bulb was developed, LED technology entered the era of lighting source. In addition to being a general lighting source, LED light bulb has also quickly become the target of automobile manufacturers: LED automobile lamp.

However, as a car headlamp, LED bulb still has many obstacles to overcome: first of all, the light intensity of a single LED is not high, to achieve the brightness of xenon headlights, it must be realized by an LED lamp group. Secondly, because the LED bulb is smaller, the heat dissipation is not good, and the maintenance is not convenient.

However, the advantages of LED light bulb are obvious. First, it is more energy-saving: the luminous efficiency of LED reaches 80% ~ 90%. In the automobile, the energy consumption of the same daytime running lamp is only 1 / 20 of that of halogen lamp.

Secondly, the service life is very long: at present, the service life of the LED components used in the automobile can basically reach 50000 hours, while the well-known automobile lighting supplier has been able to provide the LED components with the service life of 100000 hours, and the brightness attenuation is also very small, which basically does not need to be replaced in the design life of the whole vehicle. In contrast, xenon lamp life is only about 3000 hours.

The most important thing is that the LED volume is smaller, the shape of the lamp group is more free, it can adapt to all kinds of lamp shapes, and it can create unlimited space for automobile designers; in addition, the LED lamp group can achieve accurate light control, which also provides the possibility for the real intelligent light system.

In 2013, OSRAM (Germany) released led upgrading technology - OLED. OLED, or organic light emitting diode, is also known as organic electroluminescence display (OLED).

In addition, matrix LED lighting technology is also used in the intelligent lighting system of luxury cars. Before this, in order to realize intelligent lighting technology, a shutter like baffle system, two stepper motors and a movable front lens group must be installed in front of the LED light group. Through two optical cameras located in the front of the car and in the front of the wind, vehicles and pedestrians on the road ahead can be scanned, and the baffle located in the headlight group can be controlled based on this, when meeting or When following the car, the lights will automatically avoid the relevant vehicles, prevent the interference of the lights to the driver, and at the same time maintain the most clear vision.
