Development History of Halogen Lamp
2019-10-17 14:51:19

Halogen lamps began to be used in lamps in the 1970s. In 1962, Haila took the lead in introducing halogen lamps. Its light-emitting principle is very similar to that of ordinary incandescent lamp. Tungsten wire of halogen lamp has higher melting point than that of ordinary incandescent lamp. Many cars use the traditional halogen bulb, and more than 60% of the traffic accidents occur at night or when the weather conditions are bad, the lighting effect of halogen bulb will be greatly reduced at night or when the weather conditions are bad, at this time, the driver's vision is seriously affected, prone to fatigue, distraction and other situations, and the probability of traffic accidents is doubled. At this time, the xenon bulb has three times higher light intensity than the ordinary halogen bulb, but the energy consumption is only two-thirds of it; the xenon bulb uses nearly the same light color as the sunlight, creating better visual conditions for the driver. Xenon lamp makes the light range wider and the light intensity larger, which greatly improves the safety and comfort of driving.
